Registered Midwife

Al Zahra Private Hospital Dubai is hiring for the position of Registered Midwife in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This is a full-time opportunity in the Healthcare / Maternity Care sector.

Job Overview: This role is intended for candidates with Minimum 3 years of experience in Labor & Delivery Unit in UAE. The stated qualification is Bachelor’s Degree in Midwifery or Nursing with Midwifery specialization. The advertised salary is AED 10,000 – AED 16,000 per month (Estimated).

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide professional midwifery care to mothers before, during, and after childbirth.
• Educate and counsel expectant mothers about pregnancy, childbirth, and newborn care.
• Support immediate newborn care and post-delivery procedures.
• Monitor maternal and fetal condition and escalate potential complications appropriately.
• Assist with labor and delivery while maintaining patient safety and clinical standards.
• Provide compassionate support for maternal emotional wellbeing.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and follow hospital protocols and healthcare standards.
• Work closely with doctors, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated maternity care.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Midwifery or Nursing with Midwifery specialization.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a UAE Labor & Delivery Unit.
• Strong knowledge of maternity and newborn care.
• Excellent patient communication and counseling skills.
• Compassionate, patient-focused approach to maternity care.
• Western qualification is an added advantage.
• Experience assisting with water births is an added advantage.
