Rove Group is looking for a technically capable Sales Engineer – Switchgear to develop business for low-voltage (LV) switchgear panels in Dubai. The role combines technical understanding with sales, quotation preparation, customer relationship management, and coordination with design and estimation teams. Key Responsibilities
- Promote and sell LV switchgear panels to contractors, consultants, developers, and other potential customers.
- Identify business opportunities and build professional relationships with both new and existing clients.
- Review requests for quotation, technical drawings, and specifications before preparing technical and commercial proposals.
- Coordinate with design and estimation colleagues to confirm costing, technical details, and submission requirements.
- Follow up on quotations, negotiate commercial terms, track the sales pipeline, and maintain market and sales reports.
- Check that proposals reflect applicable UAE authority requirements, including DEWA, ADQC, SEWA, and EWE standards.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Three to five years of UAE experience in LV switchgear sales is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of UAE electrical-market requirements and authority standards.
- Ability to read technical drawings and project specifications.
- Valid UAE driving licence; immediate availability is preferred, with willingness to travel up to 75%.
- English fluency is required for the role; Hindi is preferred.

This position needs clear communication, negotiation, client management, and commercial follow-up skills, combined with practical knowledge of electrical panels and LV switchgear systems. The candidate should be able to translate technical requirements into suitable proposals and maintain consistent follow-up through the sales cycle.
