Senior Accountant

Design Concepts Global is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join its UAE team. This role is a great fit for a finance professional with a solid background in the construction or fit-out industry and a strong handle on UAE accounting practices.

You’ll oversee financial reporting, keep accounting operations running smoothly, support budgeting and audits, and make sure the business stays on top of UAE VAT compliance — all within a fast-moving, project-driven environment.

What you’ll be doing

• Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
• Managing the General Ledger, reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable and aging reports
• Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
• Supporting internal and external audits while ensuring accounting compliance
• Handling UAE VAT calculations and filings, monitoring cash flow, and driving financial process improvements
• Supervising junior accounting staff and maintaining accurate financial records

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience as an Accountant or Senior Accountant
• Mandatory experience within UAE construction or fit-out companies
• Strong grasp of financial reporting, General Ledger, AP/AR, budgeting and reconciliations
• Solid knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and accounting compliance
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
