Senior Internal Auditor

AFG Retail is seeking a highly experienced Senior Internal Auditor to join its Internal Audit team. This role is built for an accomplished audit professional with deep experience in risk-based auditing, corporate governance, internal controls and retail operations, ready to take on complex, large-scale audit work.

You’ll lead audit engagements end to end, assess operational and financial risk, strengthen internal control frameworks, and partner closely with senior management to raise the bar on governance and compliance across the organization.

What you’ll be doing

• Leading internal audit teams through complex, large-scale audit assignments
• Managing the full audit lifecycle — planning, risk assessment, fieldwork, testing, reporting and follow-up
• Evaluating internal controls, governance frameworks, operational processes and risk management practices
• Identifying control weaknesses, operational risks and opportunities for process improvement
• Preparing and reviewing professional audit reports, and tracking implementation of management action plans

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
• Professional certification such as CIA, CA, CPA, SOCPA or ACCA is mandatory
• 10–12 years of relevant Internal Audit experience
• Prior audit experience in the retail sector — Fashion Retail, Multimedia/Retail Technology, or Food & Beverage preferred
• Strong leadership, analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills
• Deep knowledge of risk-based audit methodologies, internal controls, governance and compliance
