Senior Accountant

ENGIE is urgently hiring an experienced Senior Accountant for its Abu Dhabi finance team, ideally someone with a strong background in real estate, property management or facilities management accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle accounting and financial reporting
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing
• Monitor accounts payable, receivable, bank reconciliations and cash flow
• Prepare budgets, variance analysis and financial statements
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT and applicable financial standards
• Coordinate with auditors and provide required documentation
• Maintain accurate records and support process improvements
• Support management with financial analysis and other accounting tasks

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• CPA, ACCA, CMA or equivalent certification preferred
• 5-8 years of accounting experience, real estate/property/facilities management preferred
• Strong grasp of financial reporting and budgeting best practices
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Immediate availability is an advantage
