Job Overview

Tangivest Group is seeking a highly detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage financial operations within the luxury watches segment, focusing on pre-owned high-value timepieces. This role requires strong expertise in inventory accounting, VAT compliance, and financial analysis in a high-value trading environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee full accounting cycle including general ledger, AP, AR, and reconciliations
• Manage high-value inventory accounting with strict accuracy
• Implement and monitor VAT Profit Margin Scheme (PMS)
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations
• Conduct margin and profitability analysis per unit
• Monitor cash flow and prepare financial reports
• Coordinate with auditors and regulatory authorities

Requirements

• 4–6 years of accounting experience in UAE or GCC
• Experience in luxury retail or high-value trading (watches, jewelry, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of VAT, especially Profit Margin Scheme
• Expertise in inventory accounting and cost analysis
• Experience handling high-value inventory (AED 50K – 500K per item)
• Strong attention to detail and audit mindset
• Proficiency in accounting systems and advanced Excel

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA, ACCA, or CMA certification
• Experience in resale or pre-owned business models
• Exposure to multi-currency transactions
