Senior Accountant

Cultivate UAE is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join its finance team in Dubai. This role offers the chance to work closely with the Finance Head while supporting month-end closing, financial reporting, reconciliations, taxation, audit coordination, and payroll-related activities. It’s a strong fit for a finance professional with solid technical accounting skills and experience navigating the UAE regulatory environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support month-end and year-end closing activities
• Prepare accurate financial reports and management reports
• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain financial accuracy
• Monitor and manage accounts receivable ageing reports
• Prepare VAT and Corporate Tax schedules in compliance with UAE regulations
• Provide support during statutory audits and maintain audit documentation
• Process WPS payroll activities accurately and on time
• Maintain financial records using Zoho Books or similar accounting systems
• Work closely with the Finance Head to support day-to-day finance operations

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of professional accounting experience
• Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Practical experience using Zoho Books or similar accounting software
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting and statutory audit processes
• Solid understanding of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• ACCA or CPA progression is an advantage but not mandatory
