Job Overview
Tajvand Group of Companies is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant or Finance Manager to oversee financial operations, reporting, planning, and controls in Ajman. The role involves financial statements, budgets, forecasts, cash flow, tax compliance, ledger oversight, and team coordination. UAE finance experience is required, while experience in transport, logistics, trading, or contracting is preferred. The successful candidate will provide reliable financial information to management, strengthen internal controls, and help the business understand its costs, liquidity, and operating performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day accounting and finance activities, ensuring transactions and supporting schedules are recorded accurately.
- Develop annual budgets, financial forecasts, and business plans that support operational and commercial decisions.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, profitability, costs, and expenditure, highlighting important variances to management.
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and relevant financial requirements, maintaining clear supporting documentation.
- Supervise accounts payable, receivable, payroll, general ledger, month-end close, and coordination with auditors and banks.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Have four to five years of finance and accounting experience, including experience in the UAE.
- Previous experience as a Finance Manager or in a senior finance role is preferred.
- ACCA, CMA, CPA, or an equivalent professional qualification is an advantage.
- Understand UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, ERP systems, financial reporting, and advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Experience in transport, logistics, trading, or contracting companies is highly preferred.
