Job Overview
Innovative International Decoration & Interior Design LLC is recruiting a Senior Accountant for its Abu Dhabi team. The role is intended for a finance professional with four to five years of relevant UAE accounting experience and a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. The successful candidate will oversee daily accounting activities, prepare financial statements and management reports, and support compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax requirements. The position also involves project costing, budget monitoring, supplier payments, customer collections and bank reconciliations. Experience in interior fit-out, construction or contracting is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger activities.
- Prepare financial statements, cash-flow information and monthly management reports.
- Support compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax rules and maintain related documentation.
- Monitor project costs, budgets, expenses and profitability for relevant projects.
- Coordinate supplier payments, customer collections and bank reconciliations.
- Work with auditors and maintain complete, accurate and organised financial records.
- Contribute to financial planning, budgeting and management reporting requirements.
Requirements and Skills
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Have four to five years of relevant accounting experience in the UAE.
- Bring experience in interior fit-out, construction or contracting as a preferred advantage.
- Understand UAE VAT and Corporate Tax requirements.
- Be proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Have strong analytical, organisational and communication skills.
- Understand financial reporting, budgeting and project-costing processes.
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required. Candidates should also have practical knowledge of UAE accounting standards, tax compliance and the financial control requirements of project-based businesses.
Employment Details
Full-time position in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The estimated monthly salary range is AED 8,000–12,000. The required experience is four to five years of UAE accounting work. Applicants should send their CV to the email listed in the application field.
