Job Overview
Sanchicago is seeking a Senior Accountant for its medical centre branch in Abu Dhabi. This is a full-time, on-site role for an accounting professional with experience in a clinic, hospital, or medical centre environment. The successful candidate will manage daily accounting operations, maintain financial records, prepare reports, complete reconciliations, and support month-end closing. A sound understanding of UAE VAT regulations is required, along with confidence using accounting software and Microsoft Excel. The role calls for a careful and analytical approach to financial data and the ability to maintain accurate accounting records in a healthcare setting.
Employment: Full Time. Experience: Previous Accountant or Senior Accountant experience in a medical centre, clinic, or hospital; degree in Accounting or Finance. Salary: AED 8,000–12,000 per month (estimated).
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities and maintain complete financial records.
- Prepare financial reports, accounting schedules, and supporting documentation accurately.
- Monitor compliance with UAE VAT rules and related financial requirements.
- Perform account reconciliations and assist with month-end closing procedures.
- Use accounting software and Microsoft Excel to maintain and review financial information.
- Support finance activities and help ensure that accounting records remain accurate and organised.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Previous experience working as an Accountant or Senior Accountant.
- Experience in a medical centre, clinic, or hospital is required.
- Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and accuracy.
Skills and Additional Information
Candidates should understand financial reporting and accounting principles and be able to maintain reliable records in a healthcare environment. Good organisation and the ability to identify discrepancies during reconciliations are important. The role is full time and on site in Abu Dhabi, with an estimated salary of AED 8,000–12,000 per month.
