A well-established FMCG/manufacturing company in Dubai is hiring an experienced Senior Cost Accountant to own product costing, inventory valuation and cost analysis, reporting directly to the Finance Manager.
You’ll build and maintain standard costing and BOMs, analyze cost variances, run inventory valuations and stock reconciliations, and partner with Production, Procurement and Sales to keep costing accurate. This role suits an analytical finance professional with manufacturing cost accounting depth who can spot cost-saving opportunities and keep ERP data clean.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain product costing, BOMs and standard costing
- Monitor raw material, labor and overhead costs; analyze variances
- Perform inventory valuation, stock reconciliations and audits
- Prepare monthly cost reports, profitability and margin analysis
- Support month-end and year-end closing
- Coordinate with Production, Procurement, Warehouse and Sales
- Monitor wastage and production yield for cost optimization
- Maintain costing accuracy in ERP and update master data
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting and IFRS/VAT compliance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce
- 4–5 years as a Cost Accountant in FMCG or manufacturing
- Advanced Excel and ERP experience (Zoho ERP a plus)
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and UAE VAT
Salary: AED 8,000–12,000 per month (estimated)
