Job Overview
CMS Printing Press LLC is hiring a Senior Maintenance Engineer for its manufacturing operations in Dubai. The role focuses on equipment reliability, preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and supervision of maintenance technicians. The engineer will work to reduce downtime, maintain safe operating conditions, and improve equipment performance in a production environment. Strong hands-on knowledge of mechanical, electrical, PLC, and VFD systems is important, while experience in printing or packaging operations will be particularly useful.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily maintenance activities to keep production equipment reliable and operating efficiently.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults, including PLC- and VFD-related issues.
- Plan and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance tasks with technicians and operations colleagues.
- Supervise maintenance staff, assign work, and follow up to ensure repairs are completed properly.
- Review equipment performance and identify improvements that can reduce downtime and recurring faults.
- Maintain maintenance records and ensure work complies with safety and operating procedures.
- Coordinate with production teams to schedule work and minimize disruption to manufacturing output.
Requirements and Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline is required.
- Eight to ten years of industrial maintenance experience is expected.
- Hands-on expertise in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, PLCs, and VFDs is essential.
- Experience supervising technicians and coordinating maintenance activities is required.
- Printing or packaging industry experience is highly advantageous.
- Strong leadership, analysis, and problem-solving skills are important in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Employment Details
Employment type: Full Time. Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Experience: 8–10 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in printing or packaging. Qualification: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline. Compensation: AED 10,000–14,000 per month (estimated).
