Job Overview
Transmarine Cargo is recruiting a Customs Clearance Executive to support import and export movements in Dubai. Key Responsibilities
- Manage UAE import and export customs-clearance activities from document preparation through release.
- Prepare, check, and process customs declarations and supporting shipment documentation accurately.
- Coordinate with Dubai Customs, Dubai Trade, shipping lines, ports, and other relevant authorities.
- Handle clearance procedures for JAFZA, mainland, free-zone, and bonded shipments as required.
- Track shipment progress and follow up on queries, missing documents, or delays.
- Ensure clearance activities follow UAE customs regulations and internal operating procedures.
- Maintain complete records of customs documents, shipment details, and clearance status updates.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Practical experience in UAE import and export customs clearance is required.
- Good knowledge of Dubai Trade, Dubai Customs, and customs documentation is important.
- Familiarity with JAFZA, mainland, free-zone, and bonded shipments is expected.
- Understanding of UAE customs regulations and clearance procedures is essential.
- Experience coordinating with shipping lines, ports, and government authorities is required.
- Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving, and task-management skills are important.
