Senior Safety Executive

JTS is seeking a seasoned and highly qualified Senior Safety Executive to lead its Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) function across chemical logistics and depot facilities in Dubai. This is a senior-level role demanding deep expertise in hazardous materials handling, regulatory compliance, and integrated management systems.

The successful professional will be responsible for spearheading a robust safety culture, implementing international standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001, and serving as the primary liaison with UAE regulatory bodies including Dubai Civil Defense, Trakhees, and Dubai Municipality. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all QHSE operations across the depot and chemical logistics network
• Ensure full compliance with UAE HSE legislation, SQAS requirements, and ISO management system standards
• Develop, implement, and continuously update QHSE policies, SOPs, risk assessments, and IMS documentation
• Plan and coordinate ISO certification cycles including initial audits, surveillance visits, and recertifications
• Act as the primary liaison with Dubai Civil Defense, Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, EHS, and other regulatory authorities
• Oversee chemical permits, DCD approvals, waste management practices, and environmental compliance programs
• Conduct facility inspections, incident investigations, emergency response drills, PTW reviews, and safety training sessions
• Chair Safety Committee meetings and manage third-party equipment certification processes
• Track and report QHSE KPIs, monitor environmental conditions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
• NEBOSH IGC/Diploma, IOSH, or an equivalent internationally recognized HSE qualification
• ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 Lead or Internal Auditor certification
• Minimum 8 years of hands-on QHSE experience, ideally in ISO Tank Depots, Chemical Logistics, Tank Terminals, or hazardous chemical environments
• Strong analytical, leadership, communication, and report-writing abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SQAS implementation or assessment experience is a plus

Salary: AED 12,000–18,000/month (Estimated)
