Senior Veterinary Doctor is an opportunity with Pet Planet Veterinary Clinic in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This Full Time position is suited to professionals who can apply relevant knowledge, communicate effectively, manage priorities, and maintain high standards in a professional working environment. The successful candidate will contribute to the organization’s day-to-day performance and help deliver reliable results within the assigned function.
The role requires UAE veterinary experience mandatory together with Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent. Candidates should demonstrate practical capability, attention to detail, accountability, teamwork, and the ability to work independently when required. Where applicable, local UAE or GCC experience, market knowledge, professional licensing, language ability, or specialist systems knowledge will be important.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat animal conditions and injuries.
- Perform soft tissue and general surgeries.
- Lead emergency and critical care cases.
- Use X-ray and ultrasound diagnostics.
- Conduct dental treatments.
- Explain treatment plans to pet owners.
- Maintain medical records and care standards.
Candidate Requirements
- DVM or equivalent veterinary qualification.
- MOCCAE licence mandatory.
- UAE veterinary experience mandatory.
- Soft tissue surgery experience.
- Orthopedic experience advantageous.
- Emergency and critical care expertise.
- Strong communication and client relationship skills.
Compensation
The advertised compensation is AED 18,000 – 30,000 per month (Estimated). Candidates should be prepared to demonstrate relevant experience, technical knowledge, and measurable results during the selection process.
