Site Engineer (Civil)

ASGC Group is on the hunt for a hands-on Site Engineer (Civil) to help keep its Dubai construction projects moving. If you’re the kind of engineer who’s equally comfortable reading a set of drawings and walking the site to make sure the work matches them, this role was built for you.

You’ll be the day-to-day link between the drawing board and the build — overseeing everything from excavation to finishing works, catching issues before they become problems, and keeping subcontractors, consultants and the wider project team pulling in the same direction. It’s a role for someone who’s already spent years in the trenches (sometimes literally) of structural and finishing construction and is ready to take more ownership of a live site.

What you’ll be doing:

• Supervising daily site activities — excavation, concreting, formwork, reinforcement, blockwork and finishing
• Making sure everything is executed to approved drawings, specs and method statements
• Keeping subcontractors, foremen, consultants and site teams aligned
• Tracking progress and reporting regularly to the Project Manager
• Upholding QA/QC standards and taking part in site inspections
• Checking incoming materials against approved technical specs
• Enforcing HSE regulations in line with company policy
• Keeping site records, technical reports and documentation accurate and current

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• 5–7 years in a site engineering role
• Solid background in structural and finishing works
• Comfortable reading and coordinating technical drawings
• Working knowledge of MS Office, AutoCAD and construction management tools
• Available to join immediately (a strong plus)

Estimated salary: AED 8,000–12,000 per month.
