ZouZou is growing its culinary team in the UAE and is looking for a skilled, passionate Steak Chef who takes real pride in grilling technique, consistency, and premium presentation.
If you know your cuts of beef inside and out and thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen, this role is your chance to shine. You’ll be responsible for delivering perfectly cooked steaks every single time, while keeping food safety and hygiene standards front and centre. Experience with Turkish, Lebanese, Mediterranean, or international cuisine is a nice bonus.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Preparing and grilling steaks to quality standards and customer preferences
- Handling different cuts of beef with proper preparation and portion control
- Ensuring consistency in taste, doneness, presentation, and plating
- Following food safety, hygiene, and proper meat storage procedures
- Maintaining a clean, organised kitchen workstation
- Working closely with the kitchen team for smooth daily operations
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience as a Steak Chef or Grill Chef in a high-volume restaurant
- Strong knowledge of beef cuts and cooking techniques
- Excellent grilling and temperature-control skills
- Solid understanding of food safety, hygiene, and meat storage
- Ability to stay consistent under pressure in a busy kitchen
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- UAE-based candidates preferred; Turkish, Lebanese, Mediterranean, or international cuisine experience is a plus
