Job Overview
Madina Market Group UAE is looking for a retail Supervisor to manage the grocery food and non-food sections in its supermarket operations. The position is suitable for an experienced retail professional who can guide store employees, maintain product availability and ensure that customers receive helpful service. The supervisor will be involved in daily section operations, stock monitoring, product rotation, merchandising and the resolution of customer concerns. A strong understanding of supermarket routines is important, as the role requires consistent attention to presentation, inventory accuracy and operational standards. Applicants should have at least five years of supermarket retail experience, including experience supervising grocery food and non-food areas. The estimated monthly salary is AED 4,000 to AED 7,000.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day activities of the grocery food and non-food sections and ensure that tasks are completed efficiently.
- Guide, motivate and supervise team members, helping them meet store service and operational expectations.
- Monitor inventory levels, product availability, stock rotation and replenishment needs.
- Maintain section presentation and merchandising standards so that products are arranged and displayed appropriately.
- Assist customers, respond to concerns and support the team in delivering a positive shopping experience.
- Follow company procedures and report operational issues that require management attention.
Qualifications and Experience
- At least five years of experience in supermarket or grocery retail operations.
- Previous supervisory experience in grocery food and non-food sections.
- A Bachelor’s degree, Diploma or equivalent qualification is indicated as the expected educational background.
Skills and Competencies
- Practical knowledge of supermarket operations, stock control and inventory management.
- Team leadership, organization and the ability to coordinate routine store activities.
- Customer service, communication and problem-solving skills.
Employment Details
Full-time position based in Dubai, UAE. Estimated salary: AED 4,000–AED 7,000 per month. The role is store-based and requires hands-on supervision of retail sections.
