Job Overview
An established flour milling organization is seeking a Quality Control Manager to lead quality activities at its facility located between Ajman and Sharjah. The role is intended for an experienced quality professional with a strong record in flour milling and food manufacturing. The manager will oversee the QC function, maintain quality assurance procedures, monitor product standards and ensure that operations meet relevant food safety and regulatory requirements. The position also includes leading and developing the quality team, coordinating inspections and audits, and identifying opportunities to improve processes. Applicants must have at least five years of managerial experience in quality control or quality management, including at least five years specifically within the flour milling industry. The salary is advertised at up to AED 18,000 per month.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Quality Control department and organize its daily activities within the flour milling operation.
- Develop, implement and monitor quality control and quality assurance procedures.
- Ensure that production and finished products meet applicable food safety rules and industry quality standards.
- Supervise, guide and develop QC team members, setting clear expectations for quality performance.
- Conduct or coordinate inspections, audits and improvement activities, and follow up on findings.
- Maintain quality processes that support consistent product standards and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications and Experience
- At least five years of managerial-level experience in Quality Control or Quality Management.
- A minimum of five years of specific experience in the flour milling industry.
- A degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Quality Management or a related subject is indicated as the expected qualification.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong knowledge of flour milling quality processes, food safety standards and quality assurance systems.
- Experience with QC team leadership, audits, inspection procedures and regulatory compliance.
- Good decision-making, reporting and communication skills.
Employment Details
