Job Overview
Response Plus Medical is looking for a Transport Supervisor to coordinate fleet and transport operations in Dubai. The role supports ambulance and other service-vehicle activities, with responsibility for scheduling, vehicle readiness, driver performance, documentation, and compliance with UAE road-safety and healthcare transport standards. The supervisor will work with operational and healthcare teams to support timely service delivery and dependable fleet performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily transportation activities, including ambulance and support-vehicle services.
- Plan transport schedules and routes and monitor vehicle utilisation for operational efficiency.
- Review driver performance and ensure compliance with company procedures and UAE road regulations.
- Arrange vehicle inspections, preventive maintenance, and repair follow-up.
- Maintain transportation logs, operational records, reports, and incident documentation.
- Investigate transport incidents or accidents and prepare required reports.
- Train and evaluate transport staff, coordinate with healthcare departments, and monitor fuel use and transport costs.
Requirements and Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- Three to five years of fleet or transport operations experience, ideally in healthcare, ambulance, or service settings.
- Strong knowledge of UAE traffic regulations and fleet-management practices.
- Experience supervising drivers and transport teams.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and transport-management systems.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills; a valid UAE driving licence is preferred and flexible scheduling may be required.
Skills
Good planning, clear communication, calm incident handling, and the ability to coordinate multiple vehicles and staff are important. Familiarity with maintenance schedules, fuel monitoring, operational documentation, and transport-management software will support effective day-to-day control.
Working Approach
The supervisor should be prepared to respond to changing operational needs and help ensure that vehicles and staff are ready when requested. Accurate records, consistent safety checks, and timely coordination with healthcare teams are central to dependable transport operations.
Employment Details
Employment type: Full-time. Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Experience: 3–5 years in transport fleet operations, preferably in healthcare, ambulance, or service industries. Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline. Salary: AED 6,500–9,500 per month (estimated).
