A well-known Abu Dhabi investment and holding company is searching for a highly capable and detail-focused Accountant to join its finance function. Al Yah International Holding LLC offers a dynamic work environment where experienced accounting professionals can take ownership of the complete accounting cycle while contributing to the financial integrity of a growing multi-entity organization.
The ideal candidate will bring proven UAE accounting experience, a firm grasp of VAT and Corporate Tax regulations, and the ability to manage financial records, reconciliations, and reports independently. Previous exposure to holding companies, investment firms, or multi-entity structures will be highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate, up-to-date financial records covering all daily transactions and accounting entries.
- Prepare detailed financial reports, reconciliations, and supporting documentation within agreed reporting timelines.
- Assist with the preparation of annual budgets, periodic forecasts, and cash flow projections to support business decision-making.
- Ensure full compliance with UAE VAT regulations and Corporate Tax requirements, including timely submissions and accurate records.
- Independently manage the accounting function end-to-end, with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance.
- Liaise with internal departments and external auditors during audit processes, providing required documentation and clarifications.
- Monitor financial performance against budgets and recommend improvements or cost-saving measures where appropriate.
- Uphold all company financial policies and applicable accounting standards at all times.
Requirements
- 4 to 7 years of accounting experience, with preference given to candidates with UAE-based work history.
- In-depth knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax legislation and filing procedures.
- Demonstrated experience in financial reporting, account reconciliations, budgeting, and cash flow management.
- Previous experience with holding companies, investment entities, or multi-entity structures is a strong advantage.
- Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CA, CPA, or equivalent) is preferred.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in accounting software.
- Strong ability to work independently and manage the full accounting function without constant supervision.
Salary: AED 8,000 – 12,000 per month (Estimated) | Employment Type: Full Time
