Housekeeping Supervisor

Novel Hotel City Center in Abu Dhabi is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Housekeeping Supervisor to lead daily housekeeping operations and uphold exceptional cleanliness standards across the property.

This leadership role is perfectly suited to hospitality professionals who have previously supervised housekeeping teams within UAE hotels and who bring strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a genuine commitment to guest satisfaction. You will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring the housekeeping team, conducting quality inspections, managing supply inventories, and ensuring that all guest areas consistently meet the hotel’s established standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and supervise the daily activities of the housekeeping department to ensure efficient and consistent operations.
• Conduct thorough inspections of guest rooms, corridors, and public areas to verify that cleanliness and quality benchmarks are met at all times.
• Allocate daily duties to housekeeping team members and monitor individual performance to ensure productivity and quality standards are maintained.
• Oversee the correct use, storage, and inventory management of all housekeeping supplies, chemicals, and equipment.
• Maintain close communication with the Front Office, Maintenance, and other hotel departments regarding room status updates and special guest needs.
• Identify and report maintenance or repair issues promptly, and follow up to confirm timely resolution by the relevant team.
• Ensure strict adherence to hotel hygiene standards, health and safety regulations, and all internal housekeeping procedures.
• Handle guest requests and resolve housekeeping-related complaints efficiently, professionally, and with a focus on guest satisfaction.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 to 3 years of housekeeping experience within UAE hotels, with supervisory responsibilities.
• Proven track record in a Housekeeping Supervisor role within a hotel environment is required.
• Strong working knowledge of housekeeping standards, cleaning techniques, and hotel operations.
• Demonstrated leadership, team management, and communication abilities.
• Capable of training, motivating, and guiding housekeeping staff to achieve high performance.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a genuine commitment to delivering outstanding guest satisfaction.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and perform well under pressure in a fast-paced hotel environment.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required by the hotel schedule.

Salary: AED 3,500 – 5,000 per month (Estimated) | Employment Type: Full Time
