Accountant

Design Seventy Three, a retail and e-commerce business based in Dubai South, is looking for a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Accountant to join its finance team. This role is particularly suited to accounting professionals with a background in e-commerce and online marketplace operations, given the company’s active presence on platforms such as Amazon, Noon, and Shopify.

Beyond standard accounting duties, you will take ownership of complex marketplace reconciliations, manage VAT and Corporate Tax compliance, handle the full AP/AR cycle, and support month-end financial closing. Proficiency in Tally Prime is a firm requirement for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and maintain daily accounting entries, journal vouchers, and financial records accurately
• Prepare proforma and sales invoices and manage billing documentation for retail and e-commerce channels
• Follow up on customer collections and manage outstanding payment receivables
• Perform comprehensive reconciliations across customers, vendors, bank accounts, and stock records
• Reconcile marketplace transactions from Amazon, Noon, Shopify, and other online platforms on a regular basis
• Manage records of sales, returns, credit notes, and related financial adjustments
• Support month-end close activities and assist with additional finance tasks as required
• Assist in the preparation and timely filing of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax returns
• Record and reconcile vendor invoices within the ERP/accounting system

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline
• 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in e-commerce, retail, general trading, or distribution
• Hands-on experience with Amazon, Noon, Shopify, or similar marketplace accounting — required
• Tally Prime proficiency — mandatory; MS Excel skills required
• Knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax is an advantage; logistics knowledge is a bonus

Salary: AED 5,000–8,000/month (Estimated)
