Cost Control Engineer

AQAR Landscape LLC, a well-established name in the UAE landscaping and outdoor construction sector, is looking for an experienced and analytically sharp Cost Control Engineer to join its team in Dubai. This role is ideally suited to a civil engineering professional with proven UAE landscaping industry experience who can take ownership of project cost management from budgeting through to final account.

You will work closely with project managers, procurement teams, and accounts departments to ensure that all projects are delivered within budget, variations are properly documented, and financial reporting is accurate and timely. Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and quantity surveying methodologies is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and control all project costs against approved budgets throughout the project lifecycle
• Prepare detailed cost plans, project budgets, cash flow forecasts, and cost-to-complete reports
• Conduct precise quantity take-offs, cost estimates, monthly valuations, and BOQ reviews
• Analyze project variations, claims, and additional works — assessing their financial and scheduling impact
• Coordinate with project, procurement, and finance teams to ensure accurate and consistent cost data
• Maintain well-organized cost control records, documentation, and reporting frameworks
• Provide management with actionable cost control recommendations to improve project profitability

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (B.E.) from a reputed institution
• 5–8 years of experience specifically within the UAE landscaping industry
• Strong command of cost control, budgeting, quantity take-offs, BOQs, valuations, and variation analysis
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Excel; experience with cost estimation software is advantageous
• Excellent numerical, analytical, and reporting skills; ability to work accurately under tight deadlines

Salary: AED 10,000–15,000/month (Estimated)
