Accountant

IntelTech Solutions & Consultancy L.L.C., a multi-disciplinary firm spanning technology consultancy and oil & gas services, is expanding its Abu Dhabi finance department and wants to hear from a meticulous, experienced Accountant ready to take ownership of day-to-day financial operations. This is a genuine opportunity to embed yourself in a company that works with clients across several Middle Eastern markets, so no two weeks look quite the same.

You’ll be the person the finance team leans on to keep the books accurate, the VAT filings compliant, and the numbers telling a clear story to management. If you enjoy the rhythm of reconciliations, reporting cycles, and payroll runs — and you have oil & gas sector exposure — this role was built with you in mind.

What you’ll be doing:

• Recording daily financial transactions and keeping the general ledger accurate and current
• Processing invoices, outgoing payments, and bank reconciliations without letting anything slip
• Pulling together monthly management reports, reconciliations, and variance analysis for leadership
• Keeping the company on the right side of UAE VAT law and supporting statutory audits when they come around
• Assisting with budgeting, cash flow monitoring, and tracking costs across active projects
• Running payroll through the WPS system each cycle
• Acting as the go-between with banks, vendors, and auditors
• Handling financial and commercial information with the discretion it deserves

What you’ll bring:

• At least 3 years in an accounting role, ideally with time spent in oil & gas
• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business Administration (Finance major)
• Solid, working knowledge of UAE VAT and FTA compliance requirements
• Comfort moving between accounting software, ERP platforms, and advanced Excel
• An analytical mindset paired with sharp attention to detail and integrity
• Current UAE residency, Abu Dhabi-based preferred
