Star Services is seeking an experienced Accountant for its Finance Department in Abu Dhabi. The position combines accounting, payroll and benefits administration, purchasing, financial reporting, budgeting, and cost-control responsibilities and is suitable for professionals with substantial UAE experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage accounting activities, financial records, and reporting requirements.
- Support payroll, benefits, and related administrative finance processes.
- Handle purchasing activities including RFQs, comparative statements, and purchase orders.
- Prepare financial reports, statements, projections, budgets, and cost analyses.
- Work with ERP systems and spreadsheets to maintain accurate financial data.
- Support management with financial analysis and operational reporting.
Requirements:
- Minimum 7 years in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of payroll, benefits, accounting, and administrative-support experience.
- Minimum 3 years of purchasing experience.
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably B.Com, or equivalent qualification.
- Strong ERP and spreadsheet skills; Microsoft Dynamics 365 is preferred.
- Excellent English communication; Arabic is an advantage.
