Accountant

MZ Architects LLC is growing its Abu Dhabi team and needs a motivated Accountant with prior consulting-firm experience who’s comfortable with UAE accounting standards and VAT compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting operations and maintain accurate records
• Handle accounts payable, receivable, payroll and general ledger activity
• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accurate reporting
• Prepare financial statements and management reports
• Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards and VAT regulations
• Keep accounting documentation organized and support audits
• Use accounting software and ERP systems to manage transactions
• Coordinate with internal departments on finance-related matters

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Minimum 3 years of UAE accounting experience
• Prior experience in a consulting company required
• Strong knowledge of UAE accounting standards and VAT
• Proficient in Excel; ERP experience is a plus
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Fluent English; Arabic is an advantage
• Willing to relocate to Abu Dhabi
