Job Overview

A well-established drinking water company in Umm Al Quwain is looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day financial operations. This role is ideal for candidates with solid accounting knowledge and experience in maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with UAE regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations and financial transactions
• Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and documentation
• Handle accounts payable and receivable processes
• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Prepare financial statements and reports
• Assist with VAT filing and ensure compliance with UAE tax laws
• Monitor expenses and maintain proper documentation
• Support internal finance processes and reporting

Requirements

• Male candidate preferred
• Must be currently based in the UAE
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of Tally ERP (mandatory)
• Good understanding of UAE VAT regulations
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting tools
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
