Accountant

Velociti Business Management is looking for a seasoned Accountant to take ownership of day-to-day financial operations for its Dubai team.

This role calls for someone with genuine depth in UAE accounting – not just bookkeeping, but a real understanding of local VAT and corporate tax rules, financial reporting and month-end processes. You’ll be trusted with the full accounting cycle, from maintaining the books through to producing management-ready reports.

An ACCA qualification would be a nice bonus, but strong practical UAE experience matters most here.

What you’ll be doing

• Maintaining accurate financial records and overseeing daily accounting activity
• Preparing Trial Balance, Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss statements
• Managing bookkeeping, financial reporting and monthly closing
• Handling Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions
• Performing bank reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
• Ensuring compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations
• Preparing financial reports to support management decision-making
• Using Excel and accounting software for analysis and reporting

What you’ll bring

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• At least 5 years of UAE accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of Trial Balance, Balance Sheet and P&L preparation
• Good understanding of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax
• Experience in bookkeeping and financial reporting
• Hands-on background with AP, AR and bank reconciliations
• Strong command of Excel and accounting software
• ACCA qualification is an added advantage

Salary: AED 5,000 per month.
