A reputable organization in the switchgear manufacturing industry is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Accountant to join its Finance & Accounts department in Sharjah. Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently.
• Perform bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations on a regular basis.
• Prepare and assist with financial statements, reports, and management accounts.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and reporting requirements.
• Maintain accounting records in accordance with company policies and financial standards.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required financial documentation.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure accurate financial data management.
• Monitor financial transactions and ensure timely recording of accounting entries.
• Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing activities.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Graduate Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 2–5 years of hands-on accounting experience preferred.
• UAE-based candidates will be preferred.
• Gulf return candidates are mandatory for consideration.
• Previous experience within the switchgear, manufacturing, or industrial sector will be highly advantageous.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounting responsibilities efficiently.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
