Accountant

Lava Casa is looking for a skilled, detail-oriented Accountant to join its full-time Dubai team, managing day-to-day financial operations with accuracy and ensuring the business stays compliant with UAE regulations.

You’ll handle financial reporting, VAT and Corporate Tax compliance, bank reconciliations, and AP/AR management — using Zoho Accounting as the primary platform alongside Excel.

What you’ll do:

• Manage daily accounting operations and financial transactions
• Prepare accurate financial statements, reports, and supporting documentation
• Handle UAE VAT and Corporate Tax calculations, filings, and regulatory compliance
• Maintain accounting records and process transactions using Zoho Accounting
• Monitor and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Perform bank reconciliations and support month-end closing
• Assist during internal and external audits with accurate documentation

What you’ll bring:

• Minimum 5 years of professional accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and Corporate Tax requirements
• Hands-on Zoho Accounting experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
