Chedi Wadi Safar is seeking an accomplished Director of Food & Beverage to lead dining operations at its luxury destination in Diriyah, Riyadh. This senior appointment is suited to a hospitality leader who can set a clear operational direction, build strong teams and deliver outstanding dining experiences while maintaining commercial discipline.
Job Overview
The Director will oversee the launch and operation of multiple dining venues, including six restaurants and an events space with two signature dining venues. The role combines guest experience, food quality, service standards, financial performance and team development, while creating opportunities to highlight Saudi culinary heritage and local sourcing.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the successful launch of six restaurants and an events space, including two signature dining venues.
- Develop and inspire the Food and Beverage team, building a culture of service excellence, collaboration and accountability.
- Oversee financial performance across all outlets, managing revenue, costs and profitability in line with business objectives.
- Establish and maintain high standards for service quality, food quality, food safety and guest satisfaction.
- Promote Saudi culinary heritage through local sourcing initiatives, menu innovation and development of local talent.
- Work with senior leadership to shape and deliver Food and Beverage strategy while maintaining luxury hospitality standards.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Senior leadership experience in a five-star luxury hospitality environment.
- Demonstrated full Profit and Loss accountability and a record of improving business profitability.
- Pre-opening or new dining concept launch experience is highly advantageous.
- Strong understanding of luxury guest service, culinary innovation and hospitality operations.
- Fluency in English is required; Arabic and GCC hospitality experience are desirable but not mandatory.
- Excellent leadership, communication and strategic planning skills.
Skills
The role requires multi-outlet leadership, financial management, P&L oversight, budgeting, revenue optimization, food safety and guest experience management. The successful leader should be able to motivate teams, establish service standards and turn strategic plans into consistent operations.
Employment Details
This is a full-time senior hospitality leadership position at Wadi Safar, Diriyah, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The estimated salary is SAR 35,000–55,000 per month. Five-star luxury hospitality leadership and P&L experience are central requirements.
