Job Overview
Woodlem Education is seeking an Accountant to support its finance department in Ajman. The role involves handling daily accounting transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and assisting with reconciliations. The successful candidate will help ensure that finance activities follow organisational policies and procedures and that accounting documents are complete and properly maintained. Applicants should have relevant UAE accounting experience and a Commerce degree, with immediate availability preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting transactions and ensure that financial records are complete and accurate.
- Prepare financial reports and support routine accounting activities for the finance department.
- Assist with account reconciliations and maintain appropriate financial documents and supporting records.
- Follow company accounting policies and procedures when recording and processing transactions.
- Provide general accounting support to colleagues and assist with finance-related tasks as assigned.
- Help maintain organised records so that accounting information can be reviewed when required.
Requirements and Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce is mandatory.
- A minimum of two years of relevant UAE accounting experience is required.
- Candidates should have sound knowledge of general accounting and bookkeeping.
- Good analytical, organisational, and communication skills are important.
- Knowledge of financial reporting, reconciliations, Microsoft Excel, and accounting procedures is expected.
- Immediate availability is preferred.

Employment Details
This is a full-time accounting role in the education sector, based in Ajman, United Arab Emirates. The estimated monthly salary is AED 4,500–6,500. A Commerce bachelor’s degree and at least two years of UAE accounting experience are required.
