Job Overview
Dorchin Construction Co. L.L.C. is seeking an Accountant to support its construction activities in Dubai. The role is suitable for an accounting professional with at least three years of experience who can maintain reliable financial records and assist with day-to-day finance operations. The successful candidate will process accounting transactions, prepare reports, reconcile accounts and help ensure that financial documentation is accurate and available when required. Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations is important, while experience in the construction sector is preferred. The role also requires the ability to use Microsoft Excel for reporting and financial analysis and to work with the finance team on month-end tasks and audit support. Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related area. The estimated monthly salary is AED 5,500 to AED 8,500.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage routine accounting transactions and maintain complete, accurate financial records.
- Prepare financial reports and assist with month-end accounting and closing activities.
- Apply UAE VAT requirements and support compliance with relevant accounting standards.
- Maintain accounting documents and provide information required for audit and review activities.
- Reconcile accounts, review financial transactions and follow up on discrepancies.
- Use Microsoft Excel to organize records, prepare reports and analyse financial information.
Qualifications and Experience
- At least three years of accounting experience.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field is indicated as the expected qualification.
- Construction industry experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and practical accounting procedures.
Skills and Competencies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting.
- Good command of English, analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Strong organization, accuracy and the ability to complete work within deadlines.
Employment Details
Full-time position based in Dubai, UAE. Estimated salary: AED 5,500–AED 8,500 per month. Construction-sector experience is preferred.
