Bellomassi Foods is looking for an Accountant with a strong cost accounting background to join its finance team in Dubai. The position is suited to a professional who understands manufacturing costs and can help management monitor inventory, evaluate product profitability and identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency.
Job Overview
The accountant will focus on manufacturing and product costing, Bill of Materials analysis, stock valuation and cost reporting. The role requires accurate ERP records and advanced Microsoft Excel skills, together with the ability to explain cost movements and financial information in a clear and practical way.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage manufacturing and product costing processes, including the preparation and review of Bill of Materials information.
- Analyze production costs and monitor expenses to identify changes that may affect operational efficiency.
- Handle inventory valuation, stock reconciliation, wastage monitoring and variance analysis to maintain reliable cost information.
- Review production costs and product margins to identify possible cost-saving opportunities and improve profitability.
- Prepare cost reports and provide relevant financial information to support planning and management decisions.
- Maintain accurate costing records in ERP systems and other financial tools, ensuring data is complete and up to date.
Requirements & Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CMA or ACCA qualification is preferred.
- Three to five years of cost accounting experience, preferably in food manufacturing or FMCG.
- Strong practical experience with manufacturing costing, product costing, BOM analysis and cost review.
- Knowledge of inventory valuation, stock reconciliation, wastage and variance analysis.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and ERP system proficiency, with good analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
Skills
Relevant capabilities include cost analysis, product margin review, inventory accounting, manufacturing variance analysis, ERP reporting and advanced spreadsheet work. Accuracy, analytical thinking and the ability to communicate cost findings are important.
Employment Details
This is a full-time accounting role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, in the food manufacturing and FMCG sector. The estimated salary is AED 6,500–9,500 per month. Candidates should have 3–5 years of relevant cost accounting experience and a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
