Job Overview
A company in Abu Dhabi is recruiting an Accountant with specific Food and Beverage or hospitality experience. The role manages key financial processes, reconciliations, UAE VAT activities, inventory monitoring, cost analysis, and reporting. Candidates without relevant F&B or hospitality accounting experience are not considered, and immediate joiners are required. This position is based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates and is offered on a full time basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
- Handle UAE VAT filing and related compliance requirements.
- Perform bank and supplier reconciliations accurately.
- Monitor stock records, inventory balances, and reconciliation differences.
- Track food costs, wastage, and operating variances.
- Complete inventory valuation and maintain supporting documentation.
- Assist with month-end closing and preparation of financial reports.
Requirements and Qualifications
Experience: Relevant accounting experience in F&B, hospitality, restaurants, cafés, hotels, bars, or similar operations. Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field (listed as estimated).
- Have prior accounting experience in F&B or hospitality operations.
- UAE accounting experience is preferred.
- Understand accounting principles and routine financial processes.
- Use Microsoft Excel and accounting software confidently.
- Be detail-oriented and available to join immediately.
