Job Overview
A Dubai-based company is seeking a Junior Accountant with UAE experience to support end-to-end accounting entries, expense management, collections, and financial record keeping. The role is suitable for a careful early-career professional who understands basic accounting procedures and can maintain accurate records using spreadsheets and accounting software. This position is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates and is offered on a full time basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Record and post accounting transactions from start to finish.
- Maintain accurate books and support daily accounting activities.
- Manage petty cash and process staff expense reimbursements.
- Follow up with customers on collections and overdue payments.
- Track and manage post-dated cheques for tenants.
- Assist with accounting documents and financial reporting.
- Follow company accounting procedures and applicable principles.
Requirements and Qualifications
Experience: 1–2 years of accounting experience in the UAE. Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Have one to two years of UAE accounting experience.
- Know basic VAT concepts and accounting principles.
- Use Microsoft Excel and accounting software effectively.
- Odoo experience is preferred; strong accuracy and deadline management are important.

Employment Details
