Job Overview
An Abu Dhabi employer is seeking an Accountant with hands-on experience in food and beverage or hospitality operations. The role involves maintaining reliable financial records while supporting the commercial realities of restaurants, cafés, hotels, and similar businesses. The accountant will work with payables and receivables, tax documentation, inventory, supplier accounts, and food-cost reporting. Applicants without relevant F&B or hospitality accounting experience are not considered for this opportunity, and immediate joiners are required.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable and receivable activities and maintain accurate transaction records.
- Prepare UAE VAT documentation and support filing activities in line with applicable requirements.
- Perform bank and supplier reconciliations and investigate differences promptly.
- Monitor stock records, inventory movement, and reconciliation results for operational accuracy.
- Track food costs, wastage, and variances to support cost control and management decisions.
- Support inventory valuation and maintain complete records for finance and operational teams.
- Assist with month-end closing, reporting, and the organization of financial documentation.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Previous accounting experience in F&B, hospitality, restaurants, cafés, hotels, or similar operations is mandatory.
- UAE accounting experience is preferred.
- Good understanding of accounting principles, VAT processes, reconciliations, and financial reporting is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software is important.
- Candidates should be detail-oriented and comfortable handling several tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Immediate availability is required for this position.

Employment Details
Employment type: Full Time. Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Experience: Relevant accounting experience in F&B or hospitality is required. Qualification: A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field is listed as an estimated qualification. Compensation: AED 6,000–8,000 per month (estimated).
