A growing Dubai restaurant business is looking for a proactive Accountant (Finance & Systems) who wants to do more than routine bookkeeping. This role is for someone genuinely curious about how financial data connects to real business operations — think POS data, food costs, and reporting systems, not just journal entries.
You’ll support the Senior Accountant across daily accounting activities while also digging into outlet performance, supplier pricing, and process improvements that make the finance function sharper.
What you’ll be doing
- Handling daily accounting activities and supporting the Senior Accountant
- Working with POS systems and sales data across multiple outlets
- Analyzing food costs, supplier pricing, and operational expenses
- Reviewing supplier invoices and maintaining payment documentation and controls
- Helping implement new financial processes, reporting systems, and improvements
- Supporting accurate financial records and business performance analysis
What you’ll bring
- 1–4 years of accounting experience
- A degree, or part-qualified ACCA/CMA/CA/CPA status (in progress is a plus)
- Strong Excel and accounting systems knowledge
- The curiosity to understand business operations beyond the numbers
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Fluent English; Arabic is an advantage. F&B experience preferred but not mandatory
