Accounts Payable Accountant

Etihad Energy Holding is looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Accountant to join its finance team in Dubai, handling supplier invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting month-end closing activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review, verify, and process supplier invoices ensuring all required supporting documents are complete.
• Maintain accurate accounts payable records and vendor ledger balances.
• Communicate with suppliers regarding invoice status, payment schedules, and account inquiries.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies, pricing differences, tax-related issues, and missing documentation.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Operations, Receiving, and Finance teams to ensure smooth payment processing.
• Reconcile supplier statements and prepare supplier payments for approval.
• Support month-end closing activities, financial audits, and reporting requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Master’s degree or professional accounting certification will be considered an advantage.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or a similar finance role.
• Proven experience in auditing and strong knowledge of UAE tax regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting tools.
• Experience working in the marine or energy industry is preferred.
