Job Overview
Karwill Global Logistic LLC is seeking a Junior Account Specialist to support its finance operations in Dubai. This full-time role is suited to a candidate with a good understanding of accounting fundamentals who wants to develop within a logistics and supply chain environment. The successful applicant will help record daily transactions, prepare invoices, maintain accounts payable and receivable records, and assist with reconciliations and tax-related work. Immediate availability is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Record day-to-day accounting transactions accurately and ensure entries are completed in a timely manner.
- Prepare customer invoices and assist with the administration of accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Carry out bank reconciliations and help maintain complete, well-organised financial records.
- Assist the finance team with VAT and Corporate Tax filing activities and supporting documentation.
- Help prepare routine accounting information and reports for review by the finance team.
- Follow established accounting procedures and communicate any missing information or transaction discrepancies to the relevant colleagues.
Requirements and Qualifications
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field is indicated as the preferred educational background.
- A specific minimum number of years of experience is not stated; a good grasp of accounting fundamentals is expected.
- Candidates should understand bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation processes.
- Careful attention to detail and the ability to organise accounting records are important.
