Job Overview
DK Line Contracting LLC is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to support its finance and accounting operations in Abu Dhabi. This role is ideal for candidates with UAE accounting experience who are looking to grow their career within the construction and contracting sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily accounting and financial operations
- Prepare invoices, maintain records, and support reconciliation activities
- Handle accounting documentation and maintain financial reporting accuracy
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Assist with UAE VAT procedures and compliance requirements
- Maintain organized financial files and transaction records
- Coordinate with internal teams regarding financial and project documentation
- Support reporting and data management using accounting software and MS Excel
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of UAE accounting experience
- Construction or contracting industry experience preferred
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, invoicing, and reconciliations
- Familiarity with UAE VAT procedures and accounting processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software systems
- Knowledge of Quantity Surveying (QS) is an added advantage
- Good communication, coordination, and organizational skills
