Assistant Accountant

Intercat Hospitality LLC is looking for an Assistant Accountant to join its finance team in the UAE, supporting the day-to-day financial operations of a busy catering and hospitality business. This is a solid opportunity for someone early in their accounting career who wants hands-on experience and a clear sense of how a finance department actually runs.

You’ll be involved in daily accounting tasks and record-keeping, helping prepare and organize accounting documents, and keeping financial data accurate through basic bookkeeping and Excel-based reporting. Catering or hospitality industry experience will give you a head start, but a genuine willingness to learn and strong attention to detail matter just as much.

What you’ll be doing

• Assist with daily accounting activities and financial record maintenance
• Support the preparation and organization of accounting documents
• Maintain accurate financial data and assist with reporting tasks
• Perform basic bookkeeping and accounting support activities
• Manage data entry and maintain records using accounting systems and Excel
• Coordinate with internal teams to support finance-related activities

What you’ll bring

• At least 1 year of relevant accounting experience
• A working understanding of basic accounting principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Catering or hospitality industry experience is an advantage
• Strong attention to detail and a knack for accurate record-keeping
