A well-known name in industrial procurement is hiring an Assistant Manager – Sourcing to join its Dubai team. This is a great fit for a procurement professional with strong MRO and indirect procurement experience across sectors like Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Manufacturing, or Engineering, who’s ready to take more ownership of supplier relationships and sourcing strategy.
You’ll manage sourcing activities and supplier relationships across a wide range of industrial products and maintenance services, working with a strong B2B procurement mindset. Willingness to relocate to Dubai is a plus for candidates based elsewhere.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing sourcing and procurement for MRO and indirect procurement needs
- Sourcing industrial products, maintenance services, and plant equipment from approved suppliers
- Handling procurement for facility management requirements and AMC contracts
- Building and maintaining supplier relationships that keep purchasing cost-effective
- Coordinating with internal stakeholders to hit procurement targets and timelines
- Evaluating supplier performance and negotiating commercial terms
- Keeping procurement activity aligned with company policy and industry standards
What We’re Looking For
- B.Tech qualification (mandatory)
- 3-8 years in procurement and sourcing
- Experience in indirect procurement, facility management, and sourcing
- Strong MRO procurement background
- Exposure to pumps, motors, bearings, pipes, wires, cables, industrial lighting, chemicals, spare parts, maintenance services, AMC contracts, and plant equipment
- Solid B2B procurement background
- Experience in Oil & Gas, Chemical, Industrial Manufacturing, Engineering, or MRO sectors preferred
- Open to relocating to Dubai
