Assistant Procurement Officer

A well-regarded interior decoration and fit-out company in Dubai is looking for a detail-oriented Assistant Procurement Officer with experience in fit-out or construction procurement. You’ll be sourcing materials, managing supplier relationships, and making sure project requirements land on site on time and on budget.

This role puts you right in the middle of exciting fit-out projects, working closely with project teams, designers, and vendors in a collaborative, growth-minded environment.

What you’ll be doing

• Sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing fit-out materials including joinery, MEP items, finishes, and furniture
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors
• Preparing and processing purchase orders in line with project schedules and budgets
• Reviewing supplier quotations and negotiating pricing and payment terms
• Coordinating with project managers, site teams, and designers on material needs
• Tracking deliveries and resolving procurement-related issues
• Maintaining supplier databases, pricing records, and procurement history
• Monitoring market trends to spot cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality

What you’ll bring

• 3 to 5 years of procurement experience in interior decoration, fit-out, or construction
• Strong knowledge of fit-out materials, finishes, and UAE-based suppliers
• Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel and procurement/ERP software
• A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred
• Valid UAE driving license is an advantage
