Job Overview
SW Tenet is seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join its Audit Department in Dubai. The role involves leading external audit engagements from planning through completion, reviewing audit work, maintaining professional standards, and managing client relationships. The manager will also guide audit team members and communicate findings that can help clients strengthen internal controls and improve the quality of financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage external audit engagements, coordinating the work from initial planning through final completion.
- Review audit working papers and ensure that engagement work follows applicable auditing standards and professional requirements.
- Supervise, guide, and mentor audit team members while supporting the quality and consistency of their work.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with clients and other stakeholders throughout each engagement.
- Prepare audit reports and communicate findings, observations, and practical recommendations to clients.
- Identify areas for improvement in internal controls and financial reporting based on audit results and risk assessment.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Previous audit experience with leadership or managerial responsibilities is required.
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field is indicated; this qualification detail is estimated.
- ACCA, CPA, or CA professional qualifications are considered an advantage.
- Candidates should have sound knowledge of auditing principles, accounting standards, IFRS, and financial reporting.
- The role requires the ability to manage multiple engagements, organise teams, and meet deadlines.
Skills
Strong analytical ability, professional communication, organisation, client management, and team leadership are important. Working knowledge of external audit procedures, risk assessment, International Standards on Auditing, internal controls, and compliance will support success in the role.
Employment Details
This is a full-time professional services role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The estimated monthly salary range is AED 15,000–25,000. Professional audit qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, or CA are advantageous.
