Royal Classic is looking for an experienced Billing Engineer to join its Abu Dhabi team. This role suits a construction professional who’s comfortable owning the numbers behind a project – payment applications, valuations, BOQs and all the commercial documentation that keeps a job financially on track.
You’ll work closely with project stakeholders to prepare and verify billing, manage claims and variations, and keep everything aligned with contract requirements. Experience across civil, infrastructure, roads, buildings or railway projects will be a strong advantage.
What you’ll be doing:
- Preparing, reviewing and submitting interim and final payment applications
- Verifying quantity measurements, BOQs, valuations and billing documentation
- Managing client and subcontractor billing with accurate, timely documentation
- Preparing variation orders, claims and supporting documentation for additional works
- Coordinating with project teams, quantity surveyors, consultants and clients on measurements, payments and certifications
- Tracking invoices, payment certificates and outstanding balances
- Preparing commercial and billing reports for management while ensuring contract compliance
What you bring:
- Proven experience as a Billing Engineer in construction
- Strong expertise in quantity surveying, project measurements and commercial billing
- Experience with BOQs, Interim Payment Certificates (IPC), Final Accounts, Variations and Claims
- UAE-based candidates preferred
- Solid grasp of construction contracts, MS Excel, cost control and project financial reporting
