Job Overview
Focus Infotech is seeking a senior Business Analyst for its Dubai team. The role suits a professional with substantial experience translating business needs into clear requirements and working across stakeholders, product owners, and technology teams in Agile delivery environments.
The analyst will help shape product backlogs, clarify expected outcomes, map processes, and maintain traceability from discovery through delivery. Strong facilitation and analytical skills are important, as is the ability to connect business goals with practical technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Elicit, analyze, document, and validate requirements, user stories, features, and acceptance criteria.
- Work with business stakeholders and technology teams to clarify objectives and customer journeys.
- Facilitate discovery workshops, process walkthroughs, and solution discussions.
- Identify process gaps, risks, dependencies, and opportunities to improve future-state workflows.
- Support backlog refinement, PI planning, sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives.
- Partner with Product Owners and Product Managers on prioritization and measurable acceptance criteria.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Have at least eight years of Business Analyst experience.
- Bring strong capability in requirements gathering, analysis, documentation, and traceability.
- Have experience supporting Agile product development teams.
- Communicate effectively with a range of business and technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrate structured problem-solving, process analysis, and sound documentation habits.
