Job Overview
Pristine Caviar is recruiting a hands-on QA/QC Officer for its caviar and seafood processing operations in Mussafah, Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on product quality, food safety, hygiene, and maintaining reliable quality records throughout production.
The successful candidate will monitor production controls, identify issues early, and help ensure that handling, packaging, labelling, and storage meet applicable standards. Candidates with seafood-processing experience in the UAE are preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor quality-control checks across caviar and seafood processing activities.
- Verify that production practices follow food-safety, hygiene, and quality requirements.
- Maintain inspection records, quality reports, and supporting compliance documentation.
- Check labelling, packaging, storage conditions, and cold-chain monitoring records.
- Identify quality deviations, report findings, and coordinate corrective actions with production colleagues.
- Support consistent quality practices and safe handling throughout relevant operations.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Have at least three years of QA/QC experience in food production.
- Hold a degree or diploma in Food Science, Microbiology, Fisheries, Aquaculture, or a related discipline.
- Understand HACCP, ISO 22000, hygiene controls, and food-safety management systems.
- Pay close attention to detail and be comfortable reviewing production records.
- Have UAE seafood-processing experience where possible; it is preferred rather than mandatory.
