Job Overview
A premium café concept in Abu Dhabi is looking for an experienced Café Manager to lead daily operations and create a consistently welcoming guest experience. The position calls for hands-on hospitality leadership and familiarity with café or restaurant service.
The manager will guide the team, maintain service and food standards, and help the business meet sales and profitability goals. UAE hospitality experience is mandatory, with experience in all-day dining and specialty coffee strongly relevant.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily café operations and maintain smooth service throughout operating hours.
- Lead, coach, schedule, and motivate team members while encouraging consistent performance.
- Maintain standards for guest service, food and beverages, specialty coffee, cleanliness, and presentation.
- Monitor sales, inventory, wastage, operating costs, and other performance indicators.
- Apply standard operating procedures, hygiene requirements, and brand guidelines.
- Respond to guest feedback professionally and resolve service issues in a timely way.
- Work with management to achieve revenue, cost-control, and profitability targets.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Have at least 2–3 years in a Café Manager or Restaurant Manager position.
- Bring UAE hospitality experience; this is stated as mandatory.
- Understand all-day dining, specialty coffee, food service, and hospitality standards.
- Have experience with profit-and-loss performance, food costs, and inventory control.
- Demonstrate team leadership, communication, customer care, and sound decision-making.
