Marriott Hotel Production City, Dubai is looking for an experienced Chief Accountant to take ownership of the hotel’s accounting and financial operations. If you’ve spent at least five years in hotel finance — ideally in a 5-star UAE property — and you’re ready for a full-time role where your leadership and expertise really matter, this could be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for. We need someone who knows hotel accounting inside out, from month-end close to budgeting and forecasting, and who can lead a team with confidence.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll manage the day-to-day accounting operations for the hotel, making sure everything is accurate, compliant, and running on time. Month-end close, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting will all be part of your world. You’ll ensure UAE accounting standards and internal controls are followed to the letter, review financial statements, and support the accounting team with guidance and direction. Monitoring hotel finances, preparing management analysis, and managing the hotel’s accounting systems will also be key parts of your role. In short, you’ll be the financial backbone of the property, helping keep everything on track behind the scenes.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a 5-star UAE hotel
- Strong background in hotel finance
- Experience with month-end closing, budgeting, and forecasting
- Solid knowledge of UAE accounting practices and internal controls
- Proven team leadership skills
- Hands-on experience with hotel accounting systems
- Marriott experience is a distinct advantage
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field
